In 2004, an old barn was transformed into a cultural hotspot for the entire region. Apart from many popular artists from all over the country, the actresses and actors of Herborner Heimatspiele e.V. are also using the stage for their high-quality productions. Apart from the local museums in the villages of Burg and Seelbach, there is also the "Hohe Schule" (High School) housing the "Stadtmuseum" (city museum), featuring various changing exhibitions that offer a good look back in time on the history of Herborn.
